Shrines and Temples Model Tour Creation Project – Japan Tourism Agency

CLIENT: National Agricultural Cooperative Tourism Association
WORK: Travel designer for the Shrines and Temples Model Tour Creation Project

As part of the Japan Tourism Agency’s initiative, the Shrines and Temples Model Tour Creation Project, we were appointed by the National Agricultural Cooperative Tourism Association to serve as travel designers and conduct advisory visits to Fukui and Kyoto prefectures.

The project aimed to design a journey that allowed visitors to self-reflect while gaining a deeper understanding of the significance of travel and religion. This was achieved by connecting the stories and meaning behind visiting shrines and temples and creating an immersive experience that engaged all five senses.

With a wealth of experience as a travel designer and a unique perspective as a foreigner well-versed in Japanese culture, we contributed to developing innovative and meaningful travel content that has never been seen before.
